If you are looking for a multi-faceted

or a hearty Blue Crab and Corn Chowder are
great starters for delicious entrees, such as
Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Roast Rack of
Virginia Spring Lamb, or Virginia Fallow Deer
Chop and Breast of Pheasant.  And no matter
how full you are, you must taste Chef
Makinson's Almond Crackle creation, a
confection of spun sugar, fresh fruits,
whipped cream, and raspberry sauce.  For
casual dining, the Peyton Grille in the
Sports Club and the Kingsmill Cafe have a
variety of sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, and
salads.  Or you can get a light snack at
Moody's Tavern in the evening.

Even though the KINGSMILL RESORT is a
complete entity unto itself, the temptations
to venture outside are great.  Colonial
Williamsburg is a step back into the 19th and
20th centuries where historic buildings have
been carefully preserved and replications of
the lifestyle are maintained.  You can dine
in taverns, browse in quaint shops, and

Gardens is a fun-filled theme park with
rides, European villages, and adventures
