"FASCINATING MALAYSIA" FEATURES FOOD AND DANCE Highlighting the "Visit Malaysia in '94" campaign, Manhattan's Nusantara Restaurant (219 East 44th Street) featured a traditional five-course Malaysian buffet and accompanying dances by the National Cultural Dance Troup of Malaysia, who regularly perform for their king. More than 20 dishes were offered, including soups, appetizers, hot and cold specialties such as Chicken and Beef Satay, Prawn Sambal and Beef Rendang, salads, and a rainbow of desserts. The authentic dishes were prepared by chefs Suzaini Salih and Mustapha Tamby Chik of the Putra World Trade center in Kuala Lumpur, who are touring the U.S. with the dance troup to present the multi-cultural food, dances and songs of Malaysia's ethnically varied 13 states. +++++
